Safety and Health Coordinators
Our Safety and Health Coordinators are experienced in coordination of small and major construction sites. They have several years of experience as Occupational Health and Safety Specialists in large-scale projects with contract-safe knowledge in Business English. They have additional qualifications in the areas of construction sites and environmental protection.
The Safety and Health Coordinators (SiGeKo) are the interface between client, contractors and authorities. As a professional expert he has the task to support and advise client and planners, architects and executing contractors regarding integration of occupational safety and health protection in the different construction phases within their cooperation. With his expertise knowledge he has to contribute to make the construction project, the construction process and subsequent works on the physical structure safe at all times.
Tasks of the Coordinator during planning and execution of the construction project
- Integration of safety and health protection in the organisational and management concept for construction progress.
- Development of protective measures against hazards arising through and with cooperation of several employers.
- Development of protective measures for common use of safety devices as well as for installations for health protection (SiGe-Plan).
- Integration of safety and health protection in a concept for subsequent works on the physical structure (basic document)
